Urban Oasis: Brooklyn Public Library

Exploring the way architecture can control light as it enters a building by studying sun patterns. Daylight can be manipulated and shaped to achieve dynamic effects within a space. The opposition of night and day, bright and dark, solid and void play contrasting roles in this community library renovation.
